In recent days, red warnings of high temperatures have been frequently given across China. To help frontline medical staff against high temperatures and carry forward the traditional virtue of respecting the elderly, Hansoh Pharma has recently launched various forms of public welfare activities and donated heatstroke prevention and anti-pandemic supplies and rehabilitation equipment to hospitals and nursing homes to provide care for medical staff, support community-based elderly services and fulfill its CSR commitments.

Care for the elderly with dementia

Under the theme of "Technology for the Elderly: Smart Services", Hansoh Pharma has recently joined hands with the Lianyungang based Huilan Public Welfare Foundation to donate a batch of practical and professional cognitive rehabilitation equipment, including situational interactive assessment and training system, digital OT assessment and training system, OT comprehensive training station, somatosensory game machine, etc., to guide various rehabilitation trainings for the elderly with dementia from a medical perspective, which can, to a certain extent, change the lifestyle of the elderly with dementia, alleviate their conditions, improve their functional rehabilitation, and reduce their morbidity and disability.

On the day of donation, under the guidance of the rehabilitation specialist, the elderly completed their first cognitive rehabilitation training in a relaxing and fun game, which significantly improved their brain functions against hemiplegia, brain damage, functional loss, etc. The participating elderly and their families expressed their gratitude and recognition for this donation and training activity. Also, this donation has further improved the facilities and rehabilitation conditions of the Lianyungang Social Welfare Center and effectively met the rehabilitation needs of the elderly with dementia.

Support for frontline medical staff working at high temperatures

Despite the high temperatures for consecutive days, the frontline medical staff at the Shanghai Children's Medical Center (the "Center") has been working outdoors to build a solid line of defense against the pandemic. How to help them has always been on the minds of Hansoh Pharma people.

At the beginning of August, Hansoh Pharma donated and shipped boxes of heatstroke prevention and anti-pandemic supplies to the Center to help fight the pandemic in Shanghai. The bright red color on the donated supplies is expected to bring a cool breeze in the scorching summer and provide a "green shade" for the frontline medical staff. It's reported that this batch of donated supplies will be used for the daily work of the front-line medical staff working against the pandemic, and the Center expressed high praise and heartfelt thanks for this donation.
